The body of the CASCHA Bass Ukulele is made entirely of laminated mahogany wood. This gives it a warm and full sound. The neck is made of okoume, the fingerboard of blackwood. The compact waistband spacing makes fast note drains easy to handle. The Aquila Thundergut strings provide enormous low pressure. They convince by a pleasant playing feeling and have a double bass like, striking response.
Bass ukuleles are played in the E-A-D-G tuning (the typical electric bass tuning). The high-quality black Open Geared mechanics provide a high tuning stability and work very precisely. If necessary, the ukulele can be retuned with the help of the integrated tuner. With the integrated neck tension rod the string position can be adjusted perfectly. The CASCHA bass ukulele can be played unplugged for practice. If it is connected to an amplifier via the integrated piezo pickup system, the amazingly full bass potential of the ukulele unfolds. You can adjust the voluminous bass sound to your own taste using the built-in 3-band equalizer. The two built-in strap pins allow the attachment of ukulele straps. This increases the comfort while playing.
